EPISODE 256: SAM GRAFTON ON ROBBI JADE LEW CHEATING ALLEGATIONS AND WINNING $5.5 MILLION

This episode of Poker In The Ears was originally going to cover Sam Grafton’s $5.5 million win at the Triton Poker Series. Then a certain poker hand made mainstream news and broke the internet. Yes, we’re talking about that hand.

After a quick catch up, Sam Grafton joins the show to explain the importance (and un-importance) of the J4 hand between Garrett Adelstein and Robbi Jade Lew and the aftermath that followed. Along with James and Joe, Grafton unpicks both sides of what is essentially a polarized argument. Whas this a serious case of scandal? Or simply a really bad call?

Next, Grafton takes us through his epic week at Titons, his study and preparations, selling action, and playing heads-up against Swiss pro Linus Loeliger.

Talk gets a little deeper as the podcast meanders into the world of inequality, money, and opportunity in a capitalist society. Joe plays the role of Noam Chomsky.

Then it’s on to Supervan Vs Stapes. Daniel Baron from the UK volunteers to ‘Go’ for glory and play for a Sunday Million ticket.
